On Monday November 7th we had our 2nd OB/GYN appointment. We were very excited this visit to hear the baby's heartbeat and we were not disappointed. The doctor came in, brought out the doppler and found the heartbeat not 2 seconds later. I am more and more thankful each and everyday for the healthy pregnancy that I've had so far and I'm so thankful for those who have contributed to helping me keep my head on straight.
Some more exciting news is that we find out the gender of our baby in 26 days! December 10th is the day. My parents will be arriving from Northern CA on the 9th, and the next morning we will all be going to find out. I'm so anxious I can hardly contain my excitement. It's pretty insane how quickly this part of the pregnancy comes up. My anatomy scan is not until December 27th, however I couldn't wait until after Christmas, where is the fun in that?!
Anyways, all is going well, baby is healthy and growing right on schedule. I'll be going back to the doctors in the beginning of December and then at the end for my anatomy scan, but lots of cute (hopefully gender specific) photos will be on their way soon!

Congrats on the little one! It's tons of fun (and work!)...we'll see if you can inculcate the little one to a Sharks fan.
